Is Pink here to stay ?

Being a feminist is a double edge sword and it ranges from being a conservative to a liberal one. I find myself somewhere in the middle of the two extremes. Every single instance of molestation is disheartening  and mocking at our sensibility  and intellect. The recent instances of women being molested will continue to recur until there is a contrast in our beliefs and our thoughts. We Indian families have a policy of silence on the major issues be it sex education or any sensitive issue for that matter. Since It is very easy to form an impression about the opposite sex (females) in era of Internet with plenty sleazy and demeaning songs. Unless and until the women themselves take the baton in their hands and shape the young minds and hearts in their houses with fearless conversations and strong point of view, there will be humiliation. Women are rebels and they have proved that consistently by being a tenacious homemaker to an ambitious career women and juggling the roles every single day. Look at your mother, sisters, daughters and spouse and you will resonate with me. Yes women are gorgeous and sensuous, the least we can do is to admire and appreciate , than make them victim of ogling, dishonoring and disparaging. Yes life is uncertain and there will be an outcome irrespective of whether you (women) were an instigator or not. It is a vicious cycle of who is to be blamed for every single heinous act committed. I strongly believe that we ( man/ women) should  take responsibility for factors which are in our circle of influence, be it the place , the people  and the time. Certainly condemnation is no consolation. Finally we Indian society are stuck between a  Dangal ( movie ) liberation and a  Pink ( movie ) decimation of a person. Can we be the change , the change we wish to see. Please do ponder.

Does Manmohan Sing…………..(h)

Not like any other day , today morning I ended up having breakfast around 7:30 am. On most days , I end up skipping breakfast . And now I am looking for recipe for sambar . I had 3 idlis , sambar and chutney and of course coffee and another couple of cups of tea to follow. Today morning I was reading an article by Dipankar Gupta titled ” Neither King nor philosopher ” in TOI. I guess I am looking for recipe of sambar, because it tasted good. I was mainly interested in one ingredient and that was salt. The article features under a special report section titled ” A legacy lost? It is in context of yesterday’s remark by Sushma swaraj, on PM . That he hardly talks and when he talks ,no one listens to him.Plainly speaking we all know ,who is Mr. Manmohan Singh ? And what is his forte. And why he was chosen by Madam for the post of PM? The PM has been victim of coalition politics and centralization of power in one person.Dr.Manmohan singh is the right person and only person ,who should be heading the government. He is a leader and not a politician . He has conscious ,which neither of the political parties and politicians possesses. He is a man ,who believes there is solution for problems and implement the same . And LPG ( liberalization, privatization and globalization ) is his contribution to the Indian economy. The Indian economy is the sambar of the 90’s and him being a pinch of salt ,changed the taste ( fate) of this country. And today’s sambar ( India) is missing the salt , despite being there but not used. I genuinely feel, even though he is on the wrong side . He must be a happy man for the revolution/agitation stirred across the nation . He is the Bhishma Pitamah of this modern Mahabharata. I genuinely feel that Dr. Manmohan singh, should step down , man of his stature does not need to be humiliated, though he is been more loyal to Madam then to the Duty. It is high and right time to bid adieu to the Top post of the country and do what he is best at , shape the future of the India. If Manmohan Singh , must be missing some one ,then it can be late PM ,P.V. Narshima Rao. Dr. Manmohan singh , has two weapons in his Armour , besides his intellect , his patience and silence. I hope that his patience and silence pays off . Is there a ray of hope, I read Anna’s next agenda is ” India tour for clean leaders”. Does Dr.Manmohan singh, having second thoughts and not calling it a day yet. If there is a song , which Dr. singh , must be humming , it can only be ,”I hate you like I love ” Anna, a song dedicated to you .

Love of Adds :- Tata Sky.

These days Tata sky has aired few new adds. I have seen couple of them . 1. Where amir is a Milk man and the other where he is a salesman. There are too good. And quite entertaining. It is quite amazing to express the message ,while also being creative and humors, its one of the toughest job. Hats off to admakers! The concept are called “Truchoice” and ‘subscription holiday’ service

After playing a cantankerous elderly Sikh man and a newly wed bride and groom in previous Tata Sky commercials, Aamir Khan has now donned the guise of a milkman in the latest brand campaign.

In the commercial, Khan is surprised when he gets only half a month’s payment from a customer for the milk. When the customer explains it’s because the family were away on holiday for the other half of the month, Khan gets his entire payment out by insisting the cow gave milk for the entire month. He overrides the man’s protests and even manages to get an additional day’s money by reminding the customer the previous month had 31 days. The ad ends with the voiceover telling the viewer not to give money when they go on holiday to the milkman or even to Tata Sky thanks to a new ‘subscription holiday’ service by the company.

Anup Chitnis, executive creative director of Ogilvy & Mather, said of the new character for Khan, “We’re always looking for Aamir to play interesting roles. In the case of this TVC and the one for the Sardaar, inspite of being the brand ambassador, he doesn’t play the protagonist. The idea was just ‘Jabardasti ho raha hai’ [it’s happening by force] if you go on a holiday and get charged by the milkman or newspaperman.”
